Canberra Trip
From Sunday to Friday the year 6 and 7 classes went to canberra by bus. My favourite part of the camp was Questacon because I love science. The gift shop was great and we got plenty of time to buy what we wanted. The people were really nice and helpful and if I could I would go back.

Hi Nakia,
Great picture. I love singing and I do singing lessons at school. The singing concert was great. Do you do singing? What are your cat and dog’s names?

Growth mindset day Reflection
On the 9th of June we had a Growth mindset day.
Jo blesing came to our school to talk about having MS and taking over challeges. I learned that you should never give up and try your best. I it was amazing that it takes her 4 hours for Jo to get to bed and 3 hours to get out. Even though there are so many every day things that she struggles to do, she keeps trying her best.
The first activity my group did was a team work activity and we learnt sign language. I had a lot of fun.
The next activity was juggling. Mr Pasto showed us a video of him and Mr March learning how to juggle. Mr Pastro showed us how to juggle step by step first with one ball then two then three.
Then I did my inspirational quotes. My insparational quote was “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs”.
I can relate growth mind set day to maths by never giving up and having a go.
